CAREERSIT Support Technician

Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote / On-Site

We are currently seeking an IT Support Technician with the drive and determination to help us support our client base. We are looking for an individual who is a problem-solver and is able to work within a team environment to successfully address challenging computer, and other technology issues. This is a full-time position – 40 hours weekly.

Our support technicians are responsible for maintaining user up-time and improving their computing experiences through effective on-site maintenance and problem identification and resolution activities. Candidates must be energetic and focused with a strong motivation, dedication, and persistence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 – 3 Years of experience Or a Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Defense / Computer Related
  • Microsoft Certified Professional status a plus but not required
  • Excellent knowledge of our supported software and technologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to effectively communicate with users and vendors
  • Passion for teamwork, problem solving and exceptional customer service
  • Must be well spoken, organized, detailed-orientated, dependable and flexible
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance with reliable transportation
  • Background check and drug screen required
  • Located within a 15-mile radius of Livonia, MI

This Position Entails:

  • Troubleshooting user problems on-site
  • Accurate documentation of all activities conducted
  • The ability to manage, maintain, troubleshoot and support our users’ networks, equipment, software and services
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements
